Those who are interested in practicing Kendo or Iaido at Kaifukan dojo must fully understand "Kaifukan Kendo", "Kaifukan Iaido" and "Dojo Rules," and then must attend one full session to observe the actual practice. This will allow them to see what our practices are like and what they can expect once they join.
Age Limitation: If an applicant is 16 years old or under, his/her parent must accompany him and also sit through the entire session to see if it meets parent's approval. If an applicant is 12 years old or younger, he/she will be accepted if his/her parent join together. If an applicant is under 8 years old, he/she will not be accepted by rule.
